Useful research before recommendations
Buyer Decider is an independent research project operated from Australia for a US audience. We are developing practical product comparisons around the decisions shoppers actually face: suitability, trade-offs, ongoing cost, evidence quality and when a product is not a sensible fit.
What we will not pretend
We do not present manufacturer statements as independent tests, invent hands-on experience, hide uncertainty or treat popularity as proof that a product is right for everyone.
Product recommendations and commercial links are not yet published. The research system is being validated before any product guide is released.
Method
Evidence enters before opinion
Each future guide must pass a staged review designed to keep claims current, traceable and proportionate to the available evidence.
Screen the decision
We assess whether a product question has meaningful shopper demand and whether a guide could add information rather than noise.
Verify the facts
Core specifications, compatibility, safety constraints and ownership costs are checked against suitable sources and recorded with dates.
Explain the trade-offs
We distinguish facts from calculations and judgment, state uncertainty, and show who may benefit—or be better served by an alternative.
Commercial independence

When commercial links appear
If affiliate links are introduced later, they will be clearly disclosed and kept separate from the evidence used to reach a conclusion. A commercial relationship will not qualify a product for coverage.
Privacy
A deliberately quiet website
This site does not use analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels, account registration, contact forms or marketing cookies. It does not sell personal information.
What the site collects
Buyer Decider does not collect information directly through this page. Like most websites, the hosting and security provider may process basic request and security logs needed to deliver and protect the service.
If you email us, we use the information you provide to read and respond to your message. Do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
